We've got a flyer!
click to make me bigger
... and here it is:
Print it out! Tape it to your desk, fridge, wall, forehead... whatever...
No matter what you do, memorize the date (April 23rd!!) & BE THERE
Would you include Big Blue Marble Bookstore as a link too(with our Poetry Aloud and Alive series happening every fourth Friday of the month)? This festival sounds wonderful! http://www.bigbluemarblebooks.com/
Jaz, If you run a series or are part of a Philly poetry organization, you can email philapoetryfest@comcast.net. Each organization will have time to talk about what it does and feature 1 reader. This isn't a reading for individual poets, though individual poets are encouraged to join us. It will be a great way to learn about all the organizations in the area, meet a ton of organizers (most of whom are always looking for readers to feature!), and hear a ton of great poetry!
Maleka, Can't believe I forgot to put that up there sooner!!! Big Blue Marble is in the links now!!! You and the store do a TON for poetry!! Hope you'll come out to the festival.
Would you include the Monday Poets reading series at the Free Library of Philadelphia as a link?
